The Hub’s Outreach team often establish relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness over time, which can help them to better understand the individual’s needs and build trust, making it more likely that the person will accept assistance and services.

Outreach team-members are able to identify the specific needs of the individuals they engage with, and connect them to the appropriate services, such as emergency shelter, healthcare, and case management.
Reducing the Number of Individuals Experiencing Homeless
Outreach helps to reduce the number of individuals experiencing homelessness by connecting them to services that will help them to secure and maintain housing.
Providing Assistance
Our Outreach team proactively assists individuals experiencing homelessness by providing essentials such as food and hygiene kits.

The Hospitality Hub’s Street Outreach program is aimed at connecting homeless individuals and families with available services. These connections are made by the Hub’s Street Outreach Specialists getting out into the community and engaging with those experiencing homelessness.
